2. Identify the negative consequences of improper or overuse of alcohol, drugs, and substances.

3. Identify two resources for older adult resources

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Northeast Multistate Division Education Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

2)    Learner Outcomes

Participants will be able to identify the symptoms of occurrence of alcohol and drug abuse among clients.

Participants will be able to identify the negative consequences of improper use or over-use of drugs.

Participants will be able to identify 2 resources for older adults.

3)    Criteria for Successful Completion

Participants must attend at least 90% of the activity and complete and submit the evaluation form and post test.
